Still on the Fire Dragon

Although the annual and monthly forecast is looking good, my friend still needed some booster. She’s a Real Estate broker you see, and she wants sales to boom. So for our lady friend the fire dragon, her lucky birthstone is amethyst. It was said that Ancient Egyptians used the amethyst to guard against guilty and fearful feelings. It was also worn as protection from self-deception, as well as a protection against witchcraft. The Amethyst is also used to open the spiritual and psychic centers, making it one of the power stones worn as a necklace for meditation. 

What does an Amethyst look like ? It is a Crystalline quartz in shades of purple, lilac or mauve, a stone traditionally worn to  to instill a sober mind. The word amethyst in Greek  meams "without drunkenness. It is a stone believed to be a source of  protection from intoxication and poison.

On a physical level, amethyst is said to strengthen the immune system and help heal imbalances of the respiratory tract and skin. It is also known as a dream stone and to help insomnia. Put an amethyst under your pillow to bring about pleasant dreams, or rub it across your forehead to offer relief from a headache.

What are the chances that my friend is suffering from severe insomnia ! Coincidence ?

I went to my favorite Feng Shui Store where I have been a regular patron of  “Auntie”,  as I lovingly call her, for years. She has almost all of the hard to find trinkets & other stuffs. Her Feng Shui jewelry are truly rare & beautiful. Luckily, she had a gorgeous Amethyst Tear Drop pendant the size of a soda bottle cap. It was magnificent ! She also had in hand, a Tiger’s Eye PiYao.  Ok ok, I can hear the crowd shouting, what’s that ? LOL. That my friend is for next time WINK WINK

Dragon's annual forecast for 2014

The last time I shared with you an “on time” monthly forecast for the Dragon. This time I would like to give you the Annual Forecast .

This is for everybody born in the years 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012

The year of the Horse is a year that can be very successful for the Dragon although they will have to be careful and avoid taking too many risks through the year. There will be some aspects of the Dragons life that will be harder than others but with some determination and perseverance, they should be able to make the year of the Horse a successful and satisfying year for themselves.

Career for the Dragon has predictions of growth in the role at work which can come from someone else leaving their job and the Dragon getting their part but this does not mean you should go about trying to get the boss fired so you can get his job; this will have to come from natural causes. There should be a lot of new projects for the Dragon in 2014 which can lead to senior members of staff becoming very trusting of the Dragon. Overall, the year of the Horse is a year of small steps for the Dragon and they should not rush anything as risks can cause problems for them in 2014.

Dragons looking for a new job or work in general during the year of the Horse can be a tricky process but with their determination and skills, they can go a long way to impress their hopefully future employer and get the job they are after, but they should not rush anything as risks can cause problems for them in 2014. Some good careers include: inventor, manager, computer analyst, lawyer, engineer, architect, broker, and sales person.

Finances will be good for the Dragon in 2014 although they may find that their outgoings are quite high this year and would do well to try and cut some unnecessary expenses if possible. If there are any large purchases in the Dragons life in 2014, they should find that this is best to shop around a lot to find the best price and previous budgeting and saving will really help them and they could end up saving a huge amount of money on purchases in 2014. The year of the Horse is not a year for diving in to financial decisions for the Horse and they should always read contracts, fine print and terms and conditions.

You also need to watch out for deceits, theft and financial losses. Be careful of personal financial management in the time of lunar January, March, April, June and September and do take a good care of your private property and pay some extra attention when you are signing important papers. Your financial fortune rises in lunar February, May, July and December.

The confident Dragon should see a rise in their social life in 2014 and will be keen to make the most of this throughout the year and they will enjoy many fantastic moments with friends and family but they will still have to keep an eye on their budget throughout the year. There are predictions of new people entering the Dragons life throughout the year of the Horse and these people can turn out to be long-time friends in the future.

There is risk of gossip in the year of the Horse and the Dragon would do well to take this lightly and not let their emotions get the better of them as this will pass fairly quickly and they would benefit from talking to the source in a calm manner to find out the facts before they let it upset them.

Home life will be good for the Dragon throughout the year of the Horse and this is a great year for the Dragon to take some time out for themselves and work on their personal health by keeping an eye on their diet and getting plenty of exercise; hobbies are a great way to do this and I have just purchased a new bike so I will be dragging myself out of bed on the weekends throughout 2014 to go on a nice long bike ride to clear my head and keep myself active.

Romance is looking promising for the Dragon although they will have to work on their communication skills with their partner for their relationship to thrive; this is not something to worry about but is just more of a way to strengthen their relationship. Single Dragons should see important and promising developments during the year of the Horse and could form strong bonds with others.

Overall, the year of the Horse should be a steady paced year for the Dragon CLAP CLAP CLAP

Angry Doors

To break away from the FIRE DRAGON, today I am trying to re-solve a Feng Shui emergency in our own home. We live in a house wherein our bedroom door is in direct alignment with our Aunt’s bedroom door. Doors are the mouths of our home and the rooms within, so when two doors are aligned it is like two mouths opposing each other. When two bedroom doors are aligned, it can bring disagreement between the occupants who use these rooms. This is a point well taken with my husband & his aunt constantly in each other’s necks.

FENG SHUI SOLUTIONS :

Place a round table in the direct pathway of energy. A vase with fresh flowers on the table will improve the energy even further.

Place a plant with a strong presence in the direct pathway of energy.

 

Reposition the existing furniture pieces to create a redirection of flow. If there is enough space in between the directly aligned doors, create a nice grouping, or a conversation area in the direct pathway. Ground the energy even more with a colorful rug.

Easy Enough.

Prevention is better than Cure

To give light to the previous menace known as the #5 Misfortune star, here is a short explanation. 

The most dreaded star is the #5 Yellow Misfortune Star (五黄). Why ? Because it is often identified with harsh misfortune, financial downfall, illnesses, and accidents ,that are most of the time lethal.

The #5 Yellow Misfortune Star is untimely and possesses an aggressive and menacing nature. It  should be suppressed or avoided at all costs. To understand more intimately the negative influence the Five Yellow Star brings, we need just to look at the effects it brings. It proves a latent channel for serious setbacks, obstacles, misfortunes, disasters, catastrophes, and disease. It is often confined in the problems you face in your daily life.

This Misfortune Star presents itself in different ways resulting in different complications. It gives a person a behavior of being eccentric, cunning, vindictive, self destructive and obnoxious.

That being said, isn't it better to be safe than sorry? We wouldn't want of pursuit of daily life to be filled with such obstacles that could prove to be fatal.  Like what a very wise man once told me - PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE. So for all you Dragon People out there, why not ? I promise, this stuff doesn't cost a fortune & it's really easy to find. So again
