How to read the compass for Mommies (not dummies LOL)

I think it was a sign ! I have had my own compass since time memorial. Like I said earlier I was born into this life. My family paid great attention to the NORTH – EAST – SOUTH – WEST . We observed basic rules such as when sleeping one must face the EAST. So, even after when I got married, I brought along into my marriage “some” of the rules of life.

My husband BEN is more of a “mixed” religion kinda guy. He was with a devout catholic family until his teens. Most of his siblings were married in the catholic church. But as he entered his mid 20s, his family was little by little introduced into the Christian Way of Life. Here there are no saints, they “don’t” believe Mary was a Virgin forever – in other  words, they were very skeptic with the teachings the Roman Catholic have imparted. He & his family joined a couple of Christian religious groups. I went with him in a couple of “prayer meetings” but found it – to be honest, SILLY ! Those preachers were terrible ! They were playing with the simple minds of people seeking hope in their lives. You think I am not being fair, ok, let me share you some of their teachings.

1.    We don’t need medicine, our prayers can cure us
2.    Give away all your earthly belongings TO THE PASTOR, and live in frugality as the men of the old testament has
3.    DON’T cut your hair, it’s a SIN

Ok guys, need I say more ? It felt like a cult ! Good thing, they didn’t follow much of the teachings, and moved on to the next congregation they came upon. So now, we have been married almost 18 years, at present, my husband & his family is with a new Christian group. It’s still small, and they are just starting up. Me & my daughter are not members of the group “yet”. She is still very young & I doubt If she could stay quiet for almost 3 hours during the church service worship LOL

Where were we, oh the compass. Through the years, I have bought a couple of Feng Shui cures for our home and office with the hopes of preventing any misfortune foretold in the annual forecast which I religiously read over & over again. Ben would indulge me in this. He even helps me put everything into place. That’s why we have a good functioning compass, this is the sign !

I have the tools, the background, the interest & most of all the heart that believes to begin this vocation. Somehow I feel I am in authority to help my friends & to make it clear – I don’t charge them anything. Yes, I don’t get paid, but they do have to “feed” me. And on several occasions, feed even my daughter who always tags along. I accept gifts, but told them, only food items and if possible, something sweet like cakes, ice creams and the likes.

Back to the compass (I always get lost with all the things I want to share ). Here is a simple “how to read the compass” :
  • Hold your compass steadily in your hand so the baseplate is level and the direction-of-travel arrow is pointing straight away from you.
  • Hold it about halfway between your face and waist in a comfortable arm position with your elbow bent and compass held close to your stomache.
  • Look down at the compass and see where the needle points.

OK, with those simple steps, we can then begin “practicing”. For the Year of the Wooden Horse, these are the TIPS for a “better” life as per location.

  • Southeast
Sector that is associated with human conflict and poor relationship. In order to achieve harmony and weaken the disturbance forces, you can place a Standing Lamp that represents fire in the Southeast area.
